In Orlando, the theme parks are the city's main attraction! The sunny, hot Florida weather makes water parks a perfect escape to cool off, enjoy various water slides, and lounge in the sun !
Aquatica is Sea World's water park and, like Disney's water parks, offers a wave pool, slides and a lazy river, but without the same thematic setting. The overall atmosphere of Aquatica lacks the charm found in Disney's water parks. At Aquatica, you'll find yourself climbing steps up brightly colored towers to reach the slides, with no additional decor to enhance your wait time !
Aquatica lives up to its reputation with an array of slides to make you lose track of time ! Initially, it might be hard to navigate the park, but maps are available to guide you.
Dolphin encounter
After entering Aquatica, you'll pass by the Commerson's dolphin pool with its distinctive black and white dolphins. You can pause to admire them through the pool's transparent walls. The pool is also crossed by two transparent tubes from a nearby slide, the « Dolphin Plunge ». If you're lucky, you might catch a glimpse of the dolphins as you slide through !

Relaxation, sliding and speed !
The lazy river, with its current, lets you float on large yellow or blue inflatable tubes while you explore the park. The wave pool awaits you for sunbathing and relaxing !

A dedicated area for younger visitors is packed with activities to enjoy the water but watch out for the giant bucket that dumps a wave when full !
For thrill-seekers, race your friends on foam mats with a breathtaking final sprint or opt for a rafting descent on a straight course designed for speed !

Enjoy a relaxing day at Aquatica water park in Orlando with its numerous slides and beach !
For a unique experience, try the funnel-shaped slides that spin you around before sending you down a lower exit tube !
Stand-up start at Ihu's Breakaway Falls !
Ihu's Breakaway Falls offers a thrilling vertical drop in a tube. At the top of the tower, you enter one of the four differently colored tubes. The door closes but you can still see your surroundings through the transparent door as you prepare for the drop.

For thrill-seekers, Ihu's Breakaway Falls slide delivers a vertical launch !
Give a final wave to signal that you’re ready and just as everything seems calm, the trapdoor opens beneath your feet: an exhilarating experience !
How to get there ?
Aquatica is located southwest of downtown Orlando, near Interstate 4 and Sea World. The park has its own paid parking for visitors.
Practical information
Aquatica offers locker rentals in two sizes, « small » and « large », to keep your belongings safe and dry. Various fast-food options are available throughout the park.
Lastly, day tickets or multi-day passes that include Aquatica, such as the « Orlando Flex Ticket », allow you to access the park and enjoy all the attractions it offers. !

The common sea fan
The common sea fan, is a type of soft coral found in the warm, shallow waters of the Caribbean and the western Atlantic ocean. It grows in wide, fan-shaped forms that sway gently with the ocean currents, helping it catch tiny food particles drifting by. Its beautiful purple branches are covered by a thin living tissue that hosts tiny algae, which provide much of the coral's energy through sunlight.
