The Istiophoridae family includes large fish commonly known as marlins and sailfish. These pelagic fish are famous for their incredible speed, powerful streamlined bodies and long pointed bills shaped like swords. They are mainly found in warm tropical and subtropical waters, where they actively hunt schools of fish and cephalopods.
